Shadow Places Project

Val Plumwood wrote about shadow places, the myriad places that in our globalised world sustain us, on which we impact and, in today’s parlance, with which we are entangled. An exciting new art collaboration by Cad Factory takes up this concept of “shadow places“. From the booklet: “Shadow places is an installation that combines ecological & agricultural thinking, projection, sound & light and focuses on the interconnectedness of rural and urban places and people.” The installation will be staged in the Turbine Hall, MAAS in Sydney for Sydney Design 2016, from 2-11 September. For further details and ways to be involved, see the Shadow Places project booklet.
